O publico alvo é o de mulheres na faixa dos 20 anos, que querem comprar latas menores,  com menor quantidade de produto. Mas estas, deverão custar um pouco mais, a coke regular (375 ml) é fixado o preço geralmente em A$1.50. A lata nova do coke (300 ml) deve custar custa $2.

Museum aiming at preserving and researching the history of immigration and the memory of immigrants who, from 1820 onwards, came to the State of São Paulo.

The Memorial do Imigrante is housed in a part of the complex of the late Hospedaria de Imigrantes (Immigrants Lodging-house) which, built between the years of 1886 and 1888, is one of few centenarian buildings of the city of São Paulo. The architectural ensemble, under the responsibility of the Memorial, includes part of the central building of the old lodging-house, gardens, railroad station and branches, where the immigrants disembarked on their arrival into town. Preserved by law by the CONDEPHAT in 1982, the building and its annexes are an important historic-cultural asset of the city and the State of São Paulo.
The Memorial do Imigrante, body attached to the Departamento de Museus e Arquivos (Museums and Archives Department) of the Culture Secretary of the State of São Paulo, is a museological institution, created on April 6th 1998, aiming at gathering, preserving, researching, documenting and publicizing the history of immigration and the memory of immigrants who, from 1820 onwards, came to the State of São Paulo.

The activities of the Memorial do Imigrante are developed in the following areas:
• Museology with Museological Production Services;
• Documentation and technical reserve;
• Educational service and Iconography;
• Oral testimonies and research;
• Library;
• Archive and Research which keeps the collection of textual documents, the register books of the old Hospedaria de Imigrantes and issues the arrival, official document, accepted in European countries and Japan;
• Transportation Historic Center, which aims at rescuing and publicizing the history of transportation in the State of São Paulo.

Administrative Processes of the Secretary of Agriculture
Approximately five thousand, issued by several agencies: Land, Immigration and Colonization (TIC), Land and Colonization Department (DTC), Land, Colonization and Immigration Department (DTCI), Immigration and Colonization Department (DIC) and the Immigration and Colonization Service (SIC), from the late 1920’s to the 1960’s, houses very diversified information concerning the themes mentioned above, that is: Land, Labour Policy and Colonization.
- Records of Immigrants Register (Qualified Labor) and Curriculum Vitae – Intergovernmental Committee for European Migrations (CIME)
This series is made of approximately 3.000 records of workers, entering the country because of international agreements between the Brazilian government and the International Refugee Organization (IRO) and afterwards with the International Committee for European Migrations (CIME). This documentation is divided in two phases: between 1947 and the beginning of the 1950’s, there is a majority of War Refugees; after this period, until the end of the 1970’s, the profile changes and we have a majority of workers of different nationalities (Italians, Spaniards, Germans, Swiss, Japanese,…)
- Photographic collection: Produced by anonymous photographers between the end of the 19th century and the 1960’s, they register the several stages of the immigration process: boarding in the native country; the journey, with images taken aboard the ship; disembarking in the cities of Santos and Rio de Janeiro; the façade and the facilities of the Hospedaria de Imigrantes; work in the fields and in the cities. The ones produced mainly in the 1930’s and 1940’s register the activities linked to colonization services and labor welcoming. Some produced from the 1990’s onwards, as a result of activities of the Oral History Branch of the Memorial, the Iconography Branch and also through photographic exhibitions and collection gathering.
- The Oral History Branch of the Memorial do Imigrante has been gathering testimonies from immigrants of over 70 nationalities.

Estudo da Universidade de Brasília (UnB) mostra que 609 mil brasileiros com 20 anos ou mais têm obesidade mórbida. Isso representa 0,64% de todos os habitantes do país. Em meados dos anos 1970, a proporção era de 0,18%. Ou seja, em quase 30 anos, houve um aumento de 255% no índice.

Os dados mais recentes se referem a 2002 e a 2003, quando o IBGE realizou a Pesquisa de Orçamentos Familiares (POF), que registrou a altura e o peso dos entrevistados, dados necessários para verificar se uma pessoa tem a doença (veja quadro ao lado).
Segundo a médica Isabella Vasconcellos, uma das autoras do estudo, o aumento na proporção de obesos mórbidos se deve à expansão do sedentarismo e do consumo de alimentos gordurosos. l
Mulheres são a maioria entre os doentes
O estudo da UnB estima que 75% das pessoas com obesidade mórbida são mulheres. A médica Isabella Vasconcellos afirma que essa é uma tendência verificada em todo mundo e cujas causas ainda precisam ser mais bem estudadas.
No período pesquisado, porém, a proporção de homens obesos aumentou 700%, contra 200% entre as mulheres. “Se não controlarmos [a doença], não sabemos onde esses números podem chegar”, afirma Isabella.
HC organiza caminhadas para emagrecimento
Até o fim do ano, o Instituto de Psiquiatria do Hospital das Clínicas (IPq) promoverá todo mês uma caminhada para estimular obesos a emagrecer. Na manhã de ontem, primeiro dia do programa, dezenas de pessoas compareceram à sede do instituto.
O projeto, chamado de Clube da Caminhada, será interrompido apenas em julho (veja calendário ao lado). Segundo a Agência Imprensa Oficial, a atividade é gratuita e inclui acompanhamento especializado. As caminhadas começam às 10h30, sempre numa segunda-feira. Para participar, não é necessário fazer inscrição prévia.
O clube é organizado pelo Projeto de Atendimento ao Obeso (Prato), que oferece tratamento médico a pessoas com excesso de peso.
